A Distribution-free Method of Condition Deterioration Detection for Radio Equipment

Due to the action of various external and internal factors, the technical condition of radio equipment usually deteriorates over time, especially at long observation intervals. Such factors include, in particular, changes in the supply voltage, environmental conditions, the presence of vibrations and noise, etc. Due to the occurrence of deterioration, the number of failures and faults increases, and therefore the time between failures decreases. During the normal operation of the equipment, the exponential model of time between failures is usually used. However, during deterioration, this model changes to a more complex one, and information about the type of this model is not known priori. Therefore, this paper is devoted to the development of a distribution-free method for detecting the deterioration of the technical condition of radio equipment. The synthesis of the detection method is based on the Kruskal-Wallis approach. The analysis of the efficiency of the detection method is performed based on the statistical simulation.
