Discipline The certification of unmanned aerial vehicles belongs to the cycle of professionally oriented disciplines and is intended for students who will work in the field of air navigation and air traffic services. The purpose of teaching the discipline Certification of unmanned aerial vehicles is to study regulatory documents on the legal basis of licensing and certification of aviation personnel and enterprises in the field of unmanned aviation in Ukraine, to learn the methodology of research on the subject of licensing and certification, certification procedures and requirements, to acquire skills in drawing up the necessary regulatory documents for the certification procedure of unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine. The objectives of studying the academic discipline are to expand the worldview of students on issues of air navigation service by getting acquainted with the basics of certification and licensing of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as the features of their practical application. Methodical recommendations for homework are developed in accordance with the program of the discipline Certification of unmanned aerial vehicles to consolidate and deepen the knowledge and skills acquired by students. Homework is the main type of individual tasks performed by the student independently. The study schedule allocates 8 hours of independent student work to homework. The homework must be completed and protected before the modular control work, otherwise the student is not allowed to the semester control. The knowledge and skills acquired by the student during the study of this academic discipline are used later in the writing and defense of the diploma thesis and in the further professional activity of a specialist with a full higher education.
