Decision Support System Based on the ELECTRE Method

Decision support systems (DSS) are still of great use in the different domains of automatization, where artificial intelligence methods have no proper information base for learning or require a big efforts. Among them choosing of a training trajectory in the Intelligent Tutoring Systems, choosing of a plan of repairing or scientific research works in the high schools may be considered as the major. The subject of the paper is a modern information technology for DSS in the case of multi-criterial choice combined advantages of the methods based on the pairwise comparison with the simplicity of the methods based on the reducing several criteria to one. The methods utilized in the research are system analysis, sets theory, graphs theory and multi-criteria choice. The model based on the ELECTRE (Elimination Choix Traduisant la Relite—exception and choice reflecting reality) method was improved by using graphical interpretation of the concordance–discordance matrices values (ELECTRE GR). The method of weighted sums is proposed to use combining with the ELECTRE GR method for the guaranteed solution finding out. Experimental investigations of the proposed method on the randomly generated data have been showed that in comparison with the ELECTRE I it gives more limited set of the dominating alternatives and reduce by a factor of five ineffective answers in the case of the default values of the custom parameters. The information technology based on the proposed methods has been described as schema, which allow to develop universal or special DSS.
